Here’s another exciting opportunity to pass along!
Springs: The Rachel Carson Center Review is an open-access online publication for peer-reviewed articles, creative nonfiction, and artistic contributions that survey the interrelationship between environmental and social changes from a wealth of disciplines and perspectives.
We are now inviting submissions for a thematic issue on nonhuman animals and more-than-human worlds. The issue will combine various formats: We seek (a) accessible writing that communicates current research on animals, human–animal relations, and multispecies worlds to a wider public, as well as (b) artistic contributions that portray and critically examine human–animal relations and the place of more-than-humans in today’s world.
Deadline: December 30th; no fee.
