I’m excited to share this new writing opportunity from Dark Mountain:
Submissions are now open for Dark Mountain’s 29th issue, a book devoted to animals. We are seeking non-fiction, fiction, poetry and artwork that departs from anthropocentric viewpoints to dive into the creaturely world.
Submissions are free and the window closes on November 14th.
John is co-author, with Midge Raymond, of the mystery Devils Island. He is also author of the novels The Tourist Trail and Where Oceans Hide Their Dead. Co-founder of Ashland Creek Press and editor of Writing for Animals (also now a writing program). More at JohnYunker.com.
